The company has successfully placed itself as a dominant player in the logistics and shipping network. Presently, FedEx possesses strong international consignment network, through which it can rapidly deliver the packages globally. In the international arena, there are many competitors of FedEx who are also striving to achieve the leading position in the logistics and shipping market. Thus, it is essential for FedEx to keep expanding and developing new markets to maintain its position in the market (Smirt & Et. Al., 2007).
